Bachelor Program in Education: Field 2
This program aims to provide a specialized academic program in education and to provide the labor market with educational human resources in the field 2, which includes : Islamic education, Arabic language and social studies , and providing students with knowledge , skills , the attitudes and values that enable them to perform their educational duties upon graduation. Improve their skills in using proper language and modern technology in teaching, and enable them to become acquainted with educational, supervisory and administrative responsibilities.
The duration of the program is limited to four regular years as the shortest period, without counting the approved courses Foundation Program. The maximum duration of obtaining a bachelor's degree is eight years without counting the courses approved by the Foundation Program. The language of instruction in the program is Arabic. The total credit hours to obtain the certificate are 129 hours.
Admission requirements in the program:
Admission Requirements of the program shall be as follows:
- Student must have the General Education Diploma certificate or General certificate (bilingual) issued by the Sultanate. All of them are general certificates in the same specialization, and do not need to be equivalent from the Ministry of Education.
- Certificate issued within the Sultanate and under the supervision of institutions other than the Ministry of Education (need to be equivalent from the Ministry of Education).
- Certificate issued from outside the Sultanate (need to be equivalent to the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate).
- Student must obtain 65 % in the mathematics, physics and chemistry.
- Pass the interview to study the program. It must also pass part of the foundation program (mathematics, computer skills and learning skills), as a general requirement of all students before starting the program.
The section also looks forward to the launch of other academic programs in the future, both at the undergraduate level or at the higher studies level. It is expected that some of these programs will be presented in the coming academic year 2019/2020.
